All passengers age 16 and over, and a parent or guardian of any passenger under the age of 16 must sign and consent to our Terms & Conditions prior boarding the helicopter.
“Chicago Helicopter Tours” is an adopted assumed business name (DBA) of Chicago Helicopter, LLC registered in the state of Illinois. Chicago Helicopter Tours is not a flight operator. All flights are operated by Midwestern Helicopters, headquartered in Kenosha, WI, but fly from Chicago
Helicopter Tours’ office and hangar at Chicago Executive Airport, 1071 S Wolf Road, Wheeling, IL 60090.
Stated tour times are approximate and may vary depending on weather conditions and other unforeseen events.
Chicago Helicopter Tours and its operator reserve the right to alter, cancel, delay, or reschedule any tour due to temporary flight restrictions, unfavorable weather conditions, operational, or technical difficulties. Tours may require a minimum number of passengers to operate.
Weight limit is 250 lbs. per seat. Chicago Helicopter Tours and its operator reserve the right to determined your weight, if required.
Passengers must be 16 years old or older, with valid government issued photo ID, or accompanied by a parent or guardian if under the age of 16.
Children can not ride on lap. All children must be old and tall enough to sit in their own seat safely secured with a standard seat belt in order to fly. Infants under the age of 2 cannot fly.
Intoxicated passengers or passengers under the influence cannot fly and are prohibited on airport property. Employees of Chicago Helicopter Tours and its operator reserve the right to deem any passenger unfit or unsafe to fly at their own discretion.
Smoking is prohibited inside the facilities, on airport property, and inside the helicopter.
Prices, availability, and tour routes are subject to change without notice.
Within 24 hours of the scheduled flight time tours cannot be rescheduled. Tours rescheduled more than 24 hours but less than 48 hours before the scheduled flight time are subject to a $50 per person reschedule fee. Tours can be rescheduled for free 48 hours or more before scheduled flight time.
Passengers can reschedule without specifying a new date and time. In that case amounts already paid will remain active on the account.
No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled flight time are non-refundable.
Cancellations at least 24 hours before the scheduled flight time will be refunded in full minus a $50 per person cancellation fee.
Chicago Helicopter Tours reserves the right to reschedule any flight or cancel it without a refund, if passengers fail to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled departure times.
Chicago Helicopter Tours can not be held responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Tours may include some elements of risk. We assume no liability for injuries due to the use of the properties, facilities and services.
If the helicopter is equipped with pop-out floats, do not step on the skits as this may damage the floats.
Passengers are responsible for all damages to equipment or to the facilities of Chicago Helicopter Tours and its operator caused by their negligent, reckless, or willful actions. This includes but is not limited to equipment belonging to third parties like jets in the hangar.
I agree to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings, and to follow any instructions and directions given by employees of Chicago Helicopter Tours and its operator.
I acknowledge that I do not have any physical limitations, medical ailments and/or physical/mental disabilities that would limit or prevent me from participating in the above mentioned activity.
Passengers are required to undergo security screening before boarding the flight. Passengers and their belongings may be subject to search for prohibited items.
Passengers may not be able to take bulky jackets, bags or other larger items on board the helicopter. Employees of Chicago Helicopter Tours and its operator reserve the right to decide at their own discretion if items can or cannot be taken on board. It is the passengers’ responsibility to leave those items in a safe place or with someone in their party who is not flying.
Passengers agree to be screened using walk-through metal detectors, hand-held metal detectors and/or pat-down screening.
The following items are not allowed on the property of Chicago Helicopter Tours or inside the helicopter at any time:
Any type of weapon including firearms, knives, tools, sporting goods or sharp objects that can cause bodily harm, compressed gases, explosive and flammable materials, magnets, poison, bleach, acid, radioactive material, drugs, and alcohol.
Stay in the front of the helicopter.
All flights are non-smoking flight. Smoking on board the helicopter is illegal and punishable by law.
Please refrain from flash photography. Make sure your smart phone’s flash is set to “off” not to “auto” or “on”.
Secure items from falling out of the helicopter.
Do not interfere with the pilot’s flight duties.
Do not unbuckle the seat belt during flight, or open the helicopter door unless required due to an emergency or asked to do so by pilot or staff.
All passengers must participate in an additional safety briefing before boarding the helicopter.
